We created an 8-foot sculpture that captures the spirit of Hartland’s story—a hand, modeled after John Robert Crouse, the town’s founder, rising up to hold a woven heart transforming into a seedling. The woven heart pays tribute to Hartland’s rich history in weaving, while the seedling represents growth, resilience, and the flourishing community it has become. This meaningful tribute now stands proudly at Hartland’s Settlers Park—come experience it in person!
